Conversation AI platform for enterprises Gupshup has expanded to Saudi Arabia, as part of its strategy to develop a stronghold in the Middle East region. It will be offering a range of conversational solutions to businesses in the country through its local arm – Gupshup Technology Gulf Limited.
With this expansion, Saudi businesses will now be able to access Gupshup’s Cloud platform. They would be able to leverage AI agents to digitize customer interactions, develop automated conversational campaigns, and drive revenue through conversational commerce and consultative sales from a single platform. Further, Gupshup will offer its domain-specific generative AI model ACE LLM for companies to build their ‘highly intelligent, human-like’ chatbots in Arabic.
"Saudi Arabia is a pivotal market in our global expansion strategy. We're witnessing a remarkable surge in business messaging adoption across the Kingdom, driven by a digitally sophisticated consumer base that increasingly prefers conversational interactions with brands. Our commitment goes beyond just providing technology — we aim to be a strategic partner in KSA's digital transformation journey, helping businesses harness the power of conversational engagement to drive growth and customer satisfaction," said Beerud Sheth, Co-founder and CEO of Gupshup.
Gupshup has been in the UAE market for the last two years. The GCC region is now company’s third-largest market globally. In Dubai, Gupshup counts some of the leading regional brands as its clients, including Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), Emaar, Talabat, Bayut, Lulu Exchange, SACO, SMSA, Ajlan & Bros, Alsaif gallery, Dukhon, Apparel Group, Sharaf DG, and Petromin among others. Globally, Gupshup claims to serve more than 45,000 customers and facilitate over 120 billion messages every year in more than 100 languages.
